North side of elevator pit with Paraseal GM and Tremdrain drain mat prior to backfill

Wembly Park – Playa del Rey, CA

All of Aril 2011 has gone into construction at the Wembly Park condominium project in Playa del Rey, CA (Playa Vista).  Terra-Petra’s Deputy Methane Barrier Inspector Richard McClanahan was on site last week to inspect the methane barrier installation at the elevator pit at the Wembley Park condos in Playa Del Rey, CA and issue a LADBS Certificate of Compliance. The project is in the City of Los Angeles Methane Zone and therefore requires such a certificate before the membrane may be covered or backfilled.

Cedar Sinai Medical Center (CSMC) – Los Angeles, CA

The new Cedar Sinai Medical Center is up from below grade and working itself up. The Waterproofing/Methane system is about to finish up. Our Supervisor Inspector Dan Valdez has taken charge of all the necessary documentation needed to complete this project and acquire its necessary warranty.

Chandler School – Pasadena

The project has already installed a vapor barrier and is commencing on the wall installation with the miradri 800 a Carlisle product. We have inspected all the last steps of the installation as the project continues to move along–especially on penetration were it is more vulnerable for water to intrude.

Bitter Point – Orange County, CA

The Bitter Point Pump Station project is making its way out of the below grade element and is terminating the coreflex to the building. There will be some irregular construction process as the building was added a new addition at mid of the construction schedule. This means that inspecting each step will be critical as it is an ongoing situation.
